Bongani Robusto

​Tobacco grown  in Manica Province, wrappers from Cameroon, rolled in Mozambique and aged in cedar from Ghana. It doesn’t get more African than this.

This 5×50 Soft Box Pressed stick features a dark chocolate, firmly packed wrapper, with a slightly oily Velvet texture, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and faint Cocoa and Pepper aroma.

First light reveals a perfect draw with mild-medium bodied flavours, a creamy texture with a sweet cream flavour, followed by a hint of Cedar, with Coffee and Cocoa through the finish. The first third comes up to a medium body with the Cream dialed down, the body flavours going to a smooth Milk Chocolate and the Pepper coming up to match on the long finish. Burn is slow and the line nearly perfect. The ½ way point comes at just over 30 minutes shifting to a deep Coffee dominating both the draw and finish carrying the rest of the flavours on the background with perfect construction.
